Eveready Captain Reading Lamp

I recently came across this amazing Eveready Captain flashlight at an estate sale and knew I had to make it into a reading lamp. It was in such great condition I barely had to polish it up at all. I replaced the flashlight bulb and socket with a standard candelabra sized socket and a 25w globe bulb, mounted it on a vintage cast iron base I had in the shop, and wired it up with a black cotton cloth covered cord. It has an in-line on/off switch and a reproduction button style plug. This would make a perfect reading light next to a comfy chair, or on your nightstand and it looks stunning whether its on or off.
