Radiacmeter Lamp

$225.00

A Radiacmeter was a portable tactical monitoring and survey instrument designed to measure
the dose rate of gamma radiation during nuclear operations in the military. This particular one seems to date from the late 50s. To it, i've added two 25w radio style Edison bulbs with spiral filaments perched atop brass stems with raw brass socket cups. The brass and military green compliment each other nicely. I've wired up toggle switch on the side to give it a tangible "click" when you turn it on or off. Its finished off with a 6 foot long cloth covered twisted wire cord and a reproduction antique button style plug.

This one of a kind light is 12.5" tall and 4" wide and about 8" deep. The cord measures approximately 6 feet long.
